It's not only developing QB's but that's part of it. It's recruiting and keeping kids in the program that can step up and play when called upon.
You mention Russell and could have mentioned Mett.
But you can also mention Jefferson and Lee.
I'm not saying it's easy. I took issue with your post that to me seemed to suggest our QB play was a burden heaped on Les rather than the truth of the matter that it's a bed he made. He is responsible for it.
