What are the consequences of conviction? If this is not a criminal "trial" and more civil, isn't POE the correct standard? Again, I guess it depends on the consequences.

The consequences are a "rape" on your college records, your reputation, forever. Basically a scarlet letter for life based on the preponderance of the evidence. Awful.

I guess the only solution then is not to have a bunch of sex with strangers and people you're not in love with. If you love the person you won't rape the person she loves you back all will be well. Too much waste of garbage sacks happening anyway. Maybe just wait. I don't know. Sexualrevolution

I had a friend who was raped in school and I fully believe her. She told the administration and they encouraged her not to press charges. I feel for people who are falsely accused but I also feel for those who are told by administration's not to be stronger and to holdguilty to guilty. It's a really bad situation that is a product of way too much sex happening on campus. Sex is very important and should not be taken lightly as most people in college today do. I think they are adults and their bodies are but they are freakingWho mostly get all their money for their parents and don't know how to take care of themselves and so they get drunk and do stupid stuff idiots I really get mad about this but it's really sad to me to

And because of this there have been a few cases where the expelled male took the college to court with a lawsuit and won. But that takes money. It's not the kind of case lawyers find appealing.
