re: Election showed that America "wants to see compromise in DC"

I work with a 55 year-old SJW who is the epitome of a left-wing kook. Believe it or not, her biggest regret in life is that she barely missed coming of age in the turbulent 1960's. I wish I had $20 bucks for everytime I've heard her say, "If I had been older then, they would've had to shoot me."

I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I had with her Wednesday-Friday. She was in full meltdown mode after Tuesday night.

This thread made me think about her, because we had both taken a late lunch on Wednesday to watch Obama's PC. Later, she told me something like, "How generous of President Obama to offer to work with those assholes." I reminded her that Obama, after he had won the Presidency, had laughed at the Republicans and told them that "elections have consequences." I said, "Now,6 YEARS LATER, you're impressed that he wants to compromise?"

She didn't say a word, just got up and left the room.
