Yes - our state elections end up being in odd-numbered years.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, AG Buddy Caldwell is Jewish, as were Judah Benjamin and Benjamin Jonas, U.S. Senators from Louisiana immediately before the Civil War and after Reconstruction, respectively.

Lee Zeldin is still a little young (34), but he seems to be an up and comer - Republican elected from Long Island, yet still fairly conservative.
