not necessarily bigger. maybe just different (see my previous post). With one of my units, I had to fool with a connector two or three times. eventually cleaned it really well with steel wool and used plier to tighten the connection.

OP: look to see if your furnace has a self-diagnostics system. there should be a little chart defining what the red-light blinks mean (e.g., 3=pressure switch ("PS") stuck on--which means loose connector at PS).
