Should I upgrade my Mid 2010 MBP to Yosemite?

Mavericks runs kind of slow sometimes but isn't too bad. Has anyone heard of any problems with Yosemite on MBPs as old as mine?

Getting ready to do a mid 2010 Mini. But I have 16G ram. Had developers that used Mac way more than me recommend not doing it till I had the memory. Was at 4G about a week ago.
