I'll bet James Byrd wishes someone had just thrown bananas at him. The Secret Information Concerning Black American Troops was a tacit admission by the U.S. government that Europe was more tolerant of Black folks than the U.S. was. On the other hand, the U.S. has never put Jews in gas chambers. The U.S., just like all nations, has been more tolerant of some groups than other groups, which is why it's wrong to paint with a broad brush in these kinds of discussions.

More people of any color ,creed or religion can and has suceeded in America. By far more than any other country. If you dont try and use these things as excuses,anyone can live a great life in America. I wish more would try it. It starts with a strong family unit and EDUCATION. Its not just to be given to anyone.
