so im getting killed this week by bye weeks. 12 team PPR, I'm 4-5 and in 7th place. There are 4 weeks left in the season.

how would you guys handle this? drop any of these guys? try and trade them? just take the loss?

QB Kaep
RB Forte
RB Jeremy Hill
WR Randle
WR Andrew Hawkins
Flex Keenan Allen BYE
TE Gates BYE
K Sturgis
NE D BYE

Bench

Gio Bernard Wont play
Andre johnson BYE
Gostowski BYE
McKinnon BYE
Oliver BYE
Josh Gordon SSPD
Lafell BYE

basically i need to fill a FLEX, TE, and D and I'd have to drop 3 of those guys to do so. McKinnon is 1st on my chopping block, but i feel like its not worth it to drop him when im 100% not going to drop 2 other guys. Gostowksi and NE D have been too good to me. They've led me in scoring some weeks.

ive explored some trades, and it's hard to trade people on byes. Im getting pennies on the dollar. Could i trade Forte? Maybe, but he has been so damn good.

as far as trading Gordon, most of the benches are pretty weak in this league. No one is going to trade a starter for him. So i could prob do a 2 for 1 and get 2 bench players back, but my chances of winning probably wont be any higher?

Im thinking im just going to eat the loss at this point, which is risky cause im fighting for a playoff spot.

Drop your defense for a new one.

Drop the 2nd kicker

And I'd drop either Oliver or McKinnon. Probably Oliver.

if you are married to Gostkowski, drop both McKinnon and Oliver.

Yeah, that's tough.

I would consider dropping mckinnon, gostkowski, maybe oliver. Gostkowski is still just a kicker. I'd feel funny keeping two of them on my team. Maybe drop sturgis and roll without a kicker this week if you feel that strongly about gost.

Maybe see what trades are out there and try to trade one of your bye week bench players for a slight step down. There's no guarantee anyone goes for that though.

Just taking the loss is a definite option. Making a bunch of moves fora slightly improved chance to win this week doesn't help if you greatly decrease your chances the rest of the year.

How many teams make the playoffs? I would drop McKinnon and Oliver to survive.

Here's what you do. Drop your D/ST pick up a new one. Drop Oliver and pick up a flex option. Drop your kicker (not Gostowski) and pick up a TE. go without a kicker going into SNF OR MNF. Since McKinnon is on a Bye, he shouldn't lock all week and should be able to be dropped at anytime Sunday or Monday. Knowing this, play it by ear, if you're winning big and don't need a kicker stay put and keep McKinnon. If it's close/you're losing and you need a kicker after the afternoon games or SNF, proceed to drop McKinnon for a kicker on a SNF or MNF team.

Make sense? I know it's kinda wordy.

Drop New England, Gostkowski (that hurts), and Oliver/McKinnon.

Just keep trying to trade the next few days and do not drop any of the players until Saturday or Sunday morning, so they go to waivers and you have a chance to get one back.
