I'm not worried about EG at all. He started off the season in a shooting slump, which will not last very long IMO. It's more of a confidence thing than anything else. Once he hits a few his rhythm and confidence will be back. The reason why I'm not worried about him is because of what I'm seeing from him on the defensive side. He's putting forth a lot of effort and in basketball if you want to see if a player's heart is in the game you look at the effort the player is putting forth defensively. I'm actually surprised by his effort defensively. His offensive game will come around soon enough. We're only 4 games into the season. If he's still putting up poor offensive numbers around game 20, then I'll start to worry.

Yeah, this really shouldn't be overlooked. If EG gets his mojo back and Tyreke starts hitting 3s, "do we need a SF more than Gordon?" might become a legit question. I think the answer is still yes, but you still might ask it which is unexpected.

He averaged 15 points a game last year, if he hits that vs. Dallas we win, vs. Memphis we lose by 1 instead of 12, but the fact that he's producing would have changed the whole dynamic too and we could be sitting at 4-0 if Gordon wasn't slumping.
