So was Jamarcus, lavar arington and the boz. Watch him play. he's good in run support. he blows coverage on pass plays and isn't very good at covering in general. I see him attacked in the passing game a lot. The plays he makes are usually bad throws by the qb. Rarely does he break on the ball and attack it. It's usually an overthrow or underthrow.

He is a combine freak. fast, strong, athletic. As a safety he's above average. he appears to be an athlete playing safety versus a db who happens to be a great athlete.

We've had many safeties as good as him. Brandon taylor was as good as him. Some players have a lot of hype with them vs performance, he's one. Look at his stats compared to ronald martin, who most people think is a liability and not as good as Ricky J. or J. Adams or Mills for that matter.

With that said. Once landon is gone, no one will know or care about him. Does anyone care about luther davis, kenny bell, Sentimore? Nope, their time has past and the light has turned off of them.

if he wins, oh well. so what if he can say his team went undefeated agains lsu while he was there. It will no longer be that time. It will be a new time and the next season. When he has children, none of their friends are going to know what the lsu/alabama record was while he was there nor will they really care. Does anyone outside of alabama care about how many championships they had in the past? no. that's how life is, unfortunately, he's a kid and can't see that perspective.
