You have my prayers, brother.
Very sad. When I talk to people about their cars I try to be serious and funny, like those guys. They were never condescending or fan boys and they never made fun of a caller's ride in a mean way.

My favorites were the letter from 12-year-old Melissa (who must be in her 30s by now).
There was also this guy who called in saying he had a Great Dane with a gastrointestinal problem. Said Great Dane proceeded to barf up a "Great Dane sized amount" of partially digested dog food onto the dash board of his mid-sized car. The "chunks" immediately got all into the guy's ductwork via the dash vents. I almost ran off the road listening to this story. If Tom and Ray were driving, they would have driven off the road too, they were laughing so hard.
