Well that's certainly wishful thinking unless Arizona somehow goes down in flames, but let's be real here. They won 3 games without Carson Palmer AND with the worst pass defense in the NFL... They are sure something else.

If the Saints win out the rest of the way, it would leave us at 12-4. Philly and Dallas are currently contending for the 2nd Seed, but both are without their starting QBs and have been off as of late. I foresee Philly finishing in front of Dallas just because they look more complete at this point.

Then comes 3rd seed... I could see this going to either Detroit or New Orleans. I'd put Green Bay in the mix as well, but I'm going to give it to Detroit because their defense has saved them every game.

4th Seed is obviously between Saints and Carolina at this point. Saints are the much more complete team, evident from the Thursday night game from last week. Atlanta is still in the mix but they would really need to turn their season around to win out, which isn't happening. And the Bucs, well, they suck...

Yea I think we're realistically looking at the 4 seed.

But this scenario kicks arse.

Seattle is 5th seed wildcard come to the dome, We win.

We travel to 1st seed Arizona, they crumble and we're in the NFCG.

Pretty sweet and not all that unrealistic.

8 games left in the season and the Saints are only 3 games behind the cards. Alot of you saying 1 game at a time an I agree with that, but it is fun to look ahead at the possible future games out comes. Looking the remaining games the cards have to play, do any of you honestly think they can run that gauntlet of games without dropping a few games?

St. Louis
Detroit
@Seattle
@Atlanta
Kansas City
@St. Louis
Seattle
@San Francisco

And this is where the rest of the NFC stands after last week.
