Start small and make a budget. Tally up all of your expenses and figure out the essentials and nonessentials. Start making cuts in areas where you can and reduce it to manageable amounts. You and your son will lose things that y'all enjoy, but y'all will both come out of it stronger.

Also, get in touch with your lawyer. He can give you a lot of the advice you need.

Sorry about the situation you are in, but you can either wallow in sorrow and self-pity (not saying that you are) or you can meet the challenge head on.

It will likely be tough, but Scruffy bets you'll be able to make it.
