I took him back to court because he wasn't taking care of the things we agreed on. We agreed to split the tuition plus 600$(child support amt from divorce in 2001 ). After I had to pay his half of the tuition last school year that was it. He makes alot more than I do. Child support increased to $2000 a month.

For one kid?
No doubt you saw the dollar signs and are pissed.

$24,000 a year for child support seems excessive.

If he's paying child support to the tune of $2000 (actual child support), your combined income has to be pretty damn high. To just up and quit a job with that kind of pay is strange. To continue to live a lifestyle anywhere near that, he's going to have to continue to pay taxes which means his income can be traced. Get a decent lawyer.

You relied on "agreed on" in a divorce settlement? Unless that "agreed on" was writton on court documents, you made a huge mistake.
I can offer more advice based on experience but you're gonna have to post pics first.

So he owes you around $30,000 a year for a college age kid? Your kid couldn't get TOPS? Doesn't the child support end after the kid turns 19?
The math on that means he owes you $24,000 out of around a $69K a year income (35%) which is pulled before taxes. Then he has to pay taxes on $69k a year income. Just saying, if my kid was 18...I'd roll too.
