you're right he didn't, and yet he made a leap that no other man in the pit could (save a child?!?) and then beat down a monster like bane on the rematch?
obviously i agree RE: the cops in the sewers, that whole bit was weird on the first viewing and worse on additional viewings.

when I talked about the tenacity and drive, I was talking about talia. bruce wayne struggled because he was injured and the stuff about not being afraid, whatever.
talia was just a vengeful and angry child determined to make it...it's impressive that she made it, not just bruce (and it is less impressive she made it) we're talking about a fricking jump, a dangerous one...she didn't fricking fly into the sky
