Last night, the 1st CD debate between incumbent Dem Carol Shea-Porter and former congressman Frank Guinta aired on CH. 9 and was considered by most to be a stalemate.

The debate I watched early last week seemed like a draw. The panel was surprisingly not too one sided. The crowd did boo some responses and the panel didnt do much to curb it.
Obviously Brown needs to do very well in Hillsborough and Rockingham counties while keeping it as close as possible in Merrimack.
I still think Shaheen will win but it might not be called right away.

Watching the entire debate, as a Brown supporter, I felt he came out just a little better. Typical of debates, one could pull out sound bites from both candidates that made one look good and other not so good. They are both experienced debaters and neither makes many mistakes.
Of the 19 polls released in the past 6 weeks, Brown had led or been tied only in polls conducted by New England College. He has trailed in all of the others.
There will be a big Get Out the Vote rally featuring Hillary Clinton and the four incumbent Dem women. That will be in Nashua Sunday morning. It will likely be overshadowed by the Patriots-Broncos game that afternoon 58 miles to the South. NH women love politics, but they love the Patriots even more. Can't go anywhere around here without seeing a female wearing Patriots gear from September to January.
