Tackling improved, line play improved, linebackers look like studs.

Hunter and Rasco both had big games.

After rewatching the first half, it appeared that Rasco woke up Saturday morning and decided he wants to play on Sundays.

Chavis decided he wanted to be proactive instead of reactive.

Notice how read options are now almost always handed off? Bo Wallace gained 7-9 yards the few times he kept the ball, and our DEs collapsed on every occasion.

Ask yourself why? Because we now have an enforcer in the middle. I watched Riley last night for the Redskins, Sheppard and Minter on Sunday, too. I am tired of trying to figure out what occurred post Minter and pre Beckwith, but our defense is back to being a part of the solution and not a problem.

There's not one person associated with the program from player to administrator that hasn't had a boost in confidence since the change was made. Kwon's making one armed tackles, Adams is solid in run support without losing coverage, and the line is all of a sudden aggressive. So much so that even Lacouture thinks he's a pass rusher and loses gap control on occasion, and he doesn't have the arm strength to recover and still make a one armed tackle.

The front seven have made slant routes almost impossible with their ability to close passing lanes. Those batted balls even include Adams. But you have to play aggressively in order to create those situations.

Kendall Beckwith and the emergence of Jamal Adams. There's an attitude to this defense you just didn't see at the beginning of the year, and on top of it all it looks as if they're just having fun.
