Mind sharing...been looking into them myself.

The first is that you can't load it without the detachable magazine in it. This means you have to keep up with another component of the gun to operate it. A new magazine is $70 from Amazon.

You can't remove the live round from the chamber and insert it into the magazine while the magazine is attached due to the top rail of the gun. I can do this with my A-Bolt. This means you have to remove the magazine from the gun to unload it properly, which takes me back to my first complaint above.

Other than that, I love the gun. It shoots great and handles even better.

Seems kinda petty to me but its your rifle. I love my tikka and Sako and hey both have a mag. To me the mag is better then the 700's I have. I do however like the fact that I can push my round down into the gun and close the bolt empty but it's not a big enough deal to not buy another.

.308 out of those two for the op. OP what other calibers do you have because that may change my vote.

The 700BDL with the hinged floor plate is the way to go, IMO. This allows you to simply open the floor plate to remove the rounds in the internal magazine, then shuck the live round out of the chamber. There's no detachable magazine to keep up with and you can always load, unload, and shoot the rifle when you have the rifle.

The T3 is a great gun. I love it and always find something to bitch about, so don't mind me.
