I don't know. Maybe it was after 5
But codeine appears to be a schedule II and she put refills on it. So maybe she did something else wrong

Just a heads up.....I don't believe by law there are refills allowed on CII meds.

Dps- is the dea number, but I've never heard of 30mg of codeine before

Not to be rude but how does a Mexican that doesn't understand stuff have the same job as you?

The pharmacist should call to get the DEA. Not that big of a deal. I think Codeine is still Schedule III. Its been a long time since I practiced as a pharmacist.

Codeine is schedule 2 now? WTF?

As of October 6, Hydrocodone was moved to schedule 2. Codeine is still a schedule 3 drug that is allowed to be both called in and issued refills.

Yep. Two Sundays ago was the last day mid levels could prescribe hydrocodone, and they all have to be on triplicate now.
And I don't see anything wrong with the OP's scrip, assuming it came from a triplicate pad.
ETA: NVM Codeine is seperate, doesn't even need triplicate.

Doesn't it normally come with 300mgs of Tylenol though?
That is Tylenol #3. Codeine used to come in 30mg and 60mg tablets. Times may have changed since I been behind the counter.

Proud to say I've been a recovering addict for several years now. I became addicted to opiates after my son died. Bad, bad time in my life. Glad it's behind me.
