Same score I predicted on TD a couple days ago.
Why Ole Miss Might Win:
Going to LSU is about as crazy as it gets, but for being a young team, the Rebels are very business-like and very strong at blocking out the outside noise. The Rebels had to deal with the largest crowd for any football game in the history of Texas – close to 111,000 at Texas A&M – and it ripped off a 21-0 first half lead like it was going through a light scrimmage. How do you stamp out crowd noise? The defense has to rock, and the run defense isn’t giving up a thing, holding Tennessee to a grand total of zero yards on 28 carries last week, and not allowing 200 yards rushing yet this year. Alabama was stuffed for under four yards per pop, and Boise State and Texas A&M didn’t do anywhere. LSU’s passing game is improving, and it’s efficient, but the offense has to run the ball to win. It’s not going to be able to do that.
Why LSU Might Win:
Ole Miss isn’t living on turnover margin, but it certainly helps when the defense comes up with 20 takeaways and turned it over just ten times. The Rebels aren’t making a slew of big mistakes, and neither are the Tigers. LSU turned it over four times against New Mexico State, and haven’t given it up more than once in any other game. Last week against Kentucky was the first time all year LSU didn’t come up with a takeaway and lost the turnover battle, and it was only -1. If the LSU defense can hold down the Rebel offense and not keep it from getting up early, and the O doesn’t make a slew of errors, this should be close.
What’s Going To Happen:
The Ole Miss defense will pick up the slack for a mediocre day from the offense. LSU will try running the ball, it won’t work, and then the passing game will have to kick in – which is exactly what the Land Sharks want. This Rebel secondary feeds off of desperation.
Prediction: Ole Miss 31 … LSU 13

Thank God. That's great news for LSU.

Seems reasonable. And just when I was starting to sip the Koolaid.
I just don't see the LSU offense doing much of anything in this game.

Have you noticed how often these guys are wrong? Not saying you can't be right but comparing yourself to them isn't a great benchmark IMO. LSU> than UT and aTm on defense and has a better running game than either of them.

Well that's that everybody.
Might as well stay home and avoid the traffic.

I think this is going to be a very tight low scoring game. Our defense is playing pretty good ball right now and they will have to continue to improve. Who wins special teams wins the game IMO

My greatest fear is a ton of 3-and-outs by the offense, which would stand to wear the defense down. The offense has got to help the defense by at least moving the ball a little. Even if we don't score, at least get a couple of first downs each drive to keep the defense rested and to win field position.

A lot of their predictions have been way off the mark.

A$M gave up 45 to Alabama by half
So I don't think we can conclude much about Ole Miss just yet.
they beat Bama at home, a good win for sure.
LSU is playing much better on D with Beckwidth and a few changes on the DL...
I highly doubt Ole Miss score much on LSU..
I think LSU makes enough plays to win the game
Ole Miss is good, but probably not #3 material...but screw it, I ain't picking ainst the Tigers at home... Just on way...we win 80% of the time

Ah, the recurring nightmare against good teams.

I think they will test the waters on the run but I think the staff knows they have to pass to win this game..
So will see passing, because we have 2 loses, you will see a more aggressive style of play
