there's no miscommunication when you say "someone isn't black enough" Clearly a person who says that is viewing things along the lines of race. At best he's trying to say by being phony he's not black enough because black people are genuine. (implying that it is a trait specific to them)

It's just all stupid, I think black people in general would be shocked how little white, Asian, Hispanic and other people identify as a part of a race or along the lines of "skin color"
