I don't see what the problem is. I'm guessing they're basically just doing a live action version of The Dark Knight Returns with a little more Supes sprinkled in throughout.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but it makes no sense to start off Batman in The Dark Knight Returns version of the character. Can anyone else not see this?

I'm afraid I cannot see it. Everyone already knows Batman's origin and has seen a good bit of his rouges gallery. Why beat a dead horse by doing ANOTHER origin movie when you can fast forward into the character's history to a time where he's a seasoned crime fighting veteran?

I'm a broken record about this. Way too much stuff being lifted from The Dark Knight Rises.

World's Finest would've been the perfect way to do this and transition it into a JL movie. There are way too many characters in this movie for us to appreciate the Batman-Superman team up. Personally, I don't like the character of Robin. It sort of goes against the lone vigilante hero feeling of Batman and having Robin as a female makes it worse...despite if it worked in The Dark Knight Rises or not.
