Do people stare? Are you the one staring?

In this day and age, unless you pray loud enough to disturb those around you I really don't see this happening.

When we would have department lunches at work, as soon as we got seated one of the girls would lower her head and pray until the meal was delivered. Only looking up briefly to glance at the menu and order her food.

OR SO I THOUGHT !!! She was actually texting or whatever on her phone. For some time, we just thought she was very religious. She wouldn't speak to us and we didn't want to disturb her prayer so we wouldn't talk to her.

These days unless you are annoying people with loud praying they won't know if you are praying, checking scores, or posting a picture of the menu on the Tigerdroppings food board. And that is ONLY if they even look up from their cell phone and notice someone is sitting at the table next to them.

I can make it short and sweet if needed. The old "rub a dub dub, thanks for the grub." has been used occasionally.

And mostly the scotch is neat or at the very most one small ice cube or teaspoon of water just to bust it up.
