Thanks FT but I was hoping for something that showed the difference between the two elections, that seems to me would be a good measurement of the "disgust" in Obama.

86% of "liberals" (self-described) voted for Obama in 2012
Down a whopping 3% from 2008.
They sound super disappointed.

According to exit polls in 2008, Obama ended up with 20 percent of the conservative vote. Even in 2012, after four years of relentless conservative attacks, he still got 17 percent of the conservative vote, with 11 percent of Tea Party supporters saying they cast their ballots for Obama.
Wow.

In that election, Nader (Independent) did fairly well, but it was also an election where you could safely vote third party whenever you wanted, since Barack Obama was going to run away with it.
The Green Party itself only had about 161,000 votes in that cycle.

Meh 160K to 500-600K isn't a collapse of Progressive voting.

I think it takes into account that conservatism isn't an American thing; it's global. A moderate liberal here is conservative in most places.

In most discussions it's sufficient to just say conservative since everyone knows you mean in the US.

It's a pretty significant swing in the progressive wing of the party.

It's probably about half the size of the Libertarian wing of the conservative movement. It's not big.
