WTF? What kind of people do this?

- Having an engagement party and announcing the best man = lame.

- Scheduling it on a college football Saturday = lame.

- Giving you 3 WEEKS NOTICE there will be a party = lame.

- Scheduling the wedding for next year, in the fall, on yet another gameday = lame.

I tell my buddy, who obviously does not have any balls or he would tell those girls to reschedule the party, that I'm sorry I won't be bale to make it on such short notice as I already have plans for that weekend.

Take yourself out of consideration as best man explaining that you know he has a difficult choice between the you and the other two guys and that maybe it would make things easier if you were not considered.

Enjoy going to the game and pray this wedding never happens. Probably the last time you'll see this buddy as his new wife wears the pants in this relationship and he won't be allowed to hang out with his friends after they are married.
