I'm not quite as pessimistic about the bench as some of you are

It's not that they can't be useful. There are skills from most of them that can help and complement the core guys. I worry about how the rotations will go.

Just my opinion, but if Monty wants to rotate 5 bench guys in at once, he can't start Evans. Rivers, Jimmer, SF, Anderson, Ajinca is a near Sixers level lineup.

But if he mixes and matches the minutes, there are good options

For instance, any bench perimeter combo with Evans, Anderson, Asik is very intriguing to me

The last CP3 year did have some 5 man bench units, but the bench guys also spent quite a bit of time playing with a decent amount of starters.

Willie Green's top 3 minutes lineups had him playing with 3 to 4 starters. LINK /
The same for Belinelli LINK /
and Jason Smith LINK /
and Marcus Thornton LINK /
Jarret Jack spent about half his time with starters the other half leading the bench unit that would become "his team" the following year. LINK /

Looking at these numbers I wouldn't expect a 5 man bench unit to get that much time, maybe 10 MPG? I think Monty's rotations would have been even tighter that year if it weren't for the fairly even 3 man battle at SG.
