The handling on a similar German car will be marginally better, at best.
That is because the chassis actually contains parts developed by Mercedes Benz. Remember when they where part of Chrysler? Well the platform the Challenger was built on was a collaborative effort between the two companies. Just some trivia for all of y'all throwing out this German engineering stuff.

Mercedes components were incorporated, including the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-class control arm front suspension, the Mercedes-Benz W211 E-Class 5-link rear suspension, the W5A580 5-speed automatic, the rear differential, and the ESP system

And FWIW, the Challenger and Charger are built on the LX/LC/LD platforms, which incorporate mostly German engineering
More trivia...from 2005-2012, Chrysler also used the Mercedes WA580/NAG-1 5 speed automatic in the Charger/300/Challenger. They now use a ZF sourced 8 speed...take a guess what nationality ZF is? (Hint: ZF stands for ZF Friedrichshafen AG).
Lot's of German components and engineering in those Chrysler cars.
