I was looking up YAC stats this morning, and I think the Saints are ranked 20th at the moment. Just doesn't seem like we get much after the catch now unless it's a screen. Granted, receiving corps is garbage right now, but it seems like to me Brees is, yes, getting the ball to the guy, but the DB's have time to react and are putting a hit on ASAP. Probably hard to prove, but I swear Colston has taken some monster hits this year. Maybe it's not any more than usual, but I want to say our receivers are taking a lot more punishment.

didn't Stills have the highest YAC average in the NFL last year?

Edit - he was 11th.

Would make sense. Oline can't protect, routes are run shorter, linebackers and safeties get to hit going forward
