Starving him for 3 days isn't even necessary, just start feeding him in the trailer everyday, or every other day. Eventually he will get comfortable in there.
As a side note we brought a friends 3 yo daughter to see him one day and he walked up turned around. Then flexed his butthole or something and shot a cloud of urine on the little girl. I couldn't stop laughing.

The fig professor in charge of him won't let them do anything. Like a trip 7 days a year is going to be harmful...idiot.
