Just from that highlight alone. I don't think he's good enough to play in the SEC. His good plays are the product of his teammates playing very disciplined and him being where he's supposed to be. He plays with a high motor, but he doesn't follow through with his tackles like you want a linebacker to do at the high school level. He makes tackles, but it's because he's stronger and faster than the other kids. That won't be the case. He has a good inside swim move and a quick first step. He needs to work on his tackling technique and bring his hips through the ball carrier. Is he a good football player? Yes I would love to have him on my Varsity team. Would I want him on scholarship at LSU? No. But anyone can improve and if the coaches like him they're the professionals not me.
