LSU won 41-3 last week which is LSU's most impressive and dominating win.
That alone will attract bettors thinking LSU has hit its stride...

The favored team has only covered twice (2) in the past 10 years

ATS yes of course. I was just saying that upsets are rare. And most of those are LSU not covering as the favorite. Ole miss being favored is rare.

I wouldn't put much stock into Ole Miss/LSU history considering that we are currently in a "bizzarro CFB" season where MSU and Ole Miss are NC contenders

Is this like when you said Kentucky +10 was easy money?
Shame on me for not being perfect

I can't see how Ole Miss doesn't cover but I would probably stay away from SEC West games and the Pac - 12.

Will be on Ga Southern and Memphis fo sho

As expected. 85% of the bets on Ole Miss... we will see if that holds

I figured that. Others didnt

It's Monday. It's gonna change.
If 75% of the tickets are on Ole Miss right now, it has no bearing on whether or not big money or wiseguy money comes in the home dog later. Also, ticket volume does not always equate to the true amount of money on each side.
In my opinion, you'll see more interest in LSU as the week progresses.
Early public tickets on Ole Miss does not guarantee a positive line move if you are looking to back LSU.

I mean, youre not telling us anything we dont already know.
Point is most of the money is coming in on Ole Miss (as of now). Like some of us projected it too...

I think the more relevant discussion projecting where where it ends up... because that will determine the best time to lock in whatever price you want.
I think there a few reasons to believe the money will start to even out a bit, but to each his own.

sorry I wasn't trying to be a blowhard.
People reading this thread may just assume 70/30 or 80/20 ticket splits in CFB automatically mean fade the public as a system play (sort of like the NFL). That just isn't the case in CFB.

For Ole Miss at LSU there will be enough volume that something like 75/25 would be significant.

I've got thoughts of taking the ULL money line again this week... The defense seems to have turned the corner.

ULL is a ChemE special... Only getting about 25% of the action.

I liked their matchup last week much better.
