re: OT Vet advice for my run over dog

I live in the country and there are dogs running into the road all the time. I try to stop and honk...at least swerve...it's dangerous and I'm probably going to cause a wreck one day swerving for a dog that shouldn't be in the road...I know accidents happen and they get out sometimes unknowingly. ..but please keep your dog out of the road. A lot of these are exist allowed to roam free and do not deserve to die ;-(
Sorry for your loss. I hope it was instantaneous and he did not suffer.
