Yes. We don't see legislation making news anymore. It's all about Obama's imperial decrees. That seems to be how policy is made in this climate. Even with two houses controlled by the republicans, he would veto any conservative measure that landed on his desk, and with one house controlled by republicans, that alone ensures that no liberal policies land on his desk.
This stalemate will remain in place until he leaves office. He's just too much of a hardline leftist. I see tough economic times coming, and I'd rather have someone who is in a position to get things for the state than a rookie hack RINO who isn't going to have any influence and who is basically a democrat anyway.
The board can hate me all it wants. True libertarians are hated by all.

I think we disagree on a good bit, but this post is more or less on point. Have an upvote.

thanks for the reference. but 50th moderate might be only 1 or 2 degrees away from 1st liberal; not impressed, not swayed one iota
she votes with the president 97% of the time, she's liberal in all of the wrong places and what senator from Louisiana is not going to support the O & G industry. I mean seriously, that does not work in her favor at all - if that is what she really does behind closed doors -
she betrayed her state by being bought off on Obamacare and being the deciding vote at that
If you support Mary Landrieu, you support Barack Obama...period! And yeah I do have a problem with that.

She's the 8th most moderate Senator in the entire Senate.

What exactly did Louisiana get for that deciding vote by Mary on obamacare?
Serious question.

Higher reimbursement rate for Medicare expansion that jindal never accepted, I believe.
