Hell, we use obsolete things all the time because we are too stupidly stubborn to change.
QWERTY keyboard? Designed for use with typewriters. Obsolete.
Fax machines? Obsolete.
Newspapers? Only good for cheap wrapping paper, starting a fire, and crawfish boils.

I work in a lab, I know about units. People still use fax machines. Qwerty keyboard is still the standard, I don't know what keyboard you use.
