Yeah, I never got it a full understanding of how much they were talking. I thought it was more like they'd meet up to frick every now and then.
I tend to lean on the side of him having something to do with it but I don't know how much and Jay just seems so shady.
The shite that turned me against Jay was when he said he didn't turn in Adnan because he was scared Adnan would turn him in for selling weed. Plus the whole "criminal element of Woodlawn" shite seemed so scripted.

I still don't understand how the two detectives took Jay's testimony seriously after he lied multiple times. It's also interesting how Jay tries to disassociate himself from Adnan in some of the early episodes. He even calls Adnan his "ex-friend". Meanwhile, Adnan has no ill feelings toward Jay.
