Whitlock has been lobbing shots at ESPN, John Skipper, John Walsh, and a host of ESPN talent for years after his first stint, trashing them at every opportunity, and he walked right back to them the minute they put a check in front of him.
Taking money doesn't equate to selling out, but what Whitlock did is the epitome of sellout hypocrisy.

The hatred is so comical people think Fox NBC etc can just copy or better ESPN/Disney.
Problem is without the Disney clout all sports programming would suffer. Disney just caters to its viewers.
A vocal minority is not going to change what Disney does.
