Yeah because that play was so hilarious.

Conner Neibors and Rasco were able to practice every down this week. So they are available to go.

Like all life it is what you bring to it. I've found occasions to laugh at a lot worse situations before.

Question about trying to hang on to underclassmen.
Miles says the players have to weight whether to be drafted in one spot or whether they would go higher if they stayed.
Miles - we lead putting players in the NFL. And says "and at a bargin". (ie: playing in the NFL above their draft status).
Talks about players having to realize the money they get and what it amounts to (after taxes, agents stuff, etc).

Hawthorne points out recognition given to Fornette and Vadal Alexander this week.
Miles praises both and says Fornette played like a veteran and powered into the end zone twice. Also praises Alexander.

Call from Mike. Thanks Hawthorne for being voice of the Tigers.
Asks if Tigers will top their FL running total this week v. KY. (Says a running play is a beautiful thing)
Miles talks balance in running/passing to the extent of keeping things open.

Caller asks about Tulane and asks about a couple of tickets to the Alabama game.
Miles - don't know when Tulane will get back on the schedule. But understands they are having a good year. Tells the guy gotta turn down giving him tickets to Bama.
End of Show.

I made the call about the reads. I felt like Dural was stared most of the time. There were a couple times he made multiple reads but most of the time when we throw the ball we stare down whoever the main read is for that certain play. If it's not there we usually try to scramble or try to force it instead of checking it down or scanning the field for the next option

Here's a question - watching the replay of the Monday Lunch with Les show. I wonder why he wears a blazer and button down shirt on that show and a windbreaker/casual LSU attire on the Wednesday night show?
Posted on 10/15/14 at 9:15 pm to Methuselah
Last week they said he came straight from practice

Thought it was a good question. I liked the way you worded it. Not a threatening question at all. Nice job.

The answer on the other hand was typical Miles speak haha

Yeah it was! "Well I'm glad we made some of those throws we stared Dural down on!" Well no shite but what about the times when his first read isn't there and he looks lost as a goose! Ha

It may just be habit - as the Wednesday night show was a casual, radio, sports bar type show and has only recently began being televised?
Just spitballing, but crazier things have been true...

Just had the chance to read through the notes. Thanks Methuseleh.

Ugh... makes it unwatchable on TV. Even on radio I cringe.

Didn't he answer this? So you think the coaches would rather jennings not make his reads? They are just telling him to throw to dural or scramble? It takes time to get the coaching on the field. And if Jennings doesn't progress, he will eventually lose the job again.
