I would imagine the viewing audience was made up of a bout 35 political nerds who have long since made up their mind about who they're voting for. It think it's safe to say that the debate influenced exactly .01% of the "undecided" voters. A half-hour of all three candidates in a free-throw shooting contest would have had more impact on the election
