Since 2000
Bama
Auburn
Florida
Arkansas
Ole Miss hasn't beaten us in a meaningful game since the 60s or 70s. But yea they say go to hell LSU at the end of the national anthem. Must be some serious hate from them. I don't even notice them until the week of the game. But i was born in the 80s

Traditionally OLE MISS.. but OM did not have a great team for years, so Bama has taken its place.
We will likely end up w/ Bama and Ole Miss in years to come
FL and Auburn have become strong games, although I do not know if true rivals

Well I am glad another fan base realizes that he majority of ole miss fans are pretentious pricks who think their feces smell like strawberries. This whole Landmass crap makes me sick to my stomach. There is no way shape or fashion I will ever want old piss to win a game except for in a case where it helps us. This does not mean I will ever cheer for them though.

If you talk to old piss they claim LSU is a bigger rivalry game than MSU.
Ole Miss - LSU still lives in the minds of the old timers as a great rivalry, but it hasn't really been anything like a rivalry over the last 20 years or so....
as an LSU fan living in MS, I can tell you that Ole Miss - Miss St is a far bigger rivalry...honestly, there is no comparison...

For the fans over 40 definitely Ole Miss.
Fans 30-40, its 50/50 .
Players and fans under 30 its Bama. Just look at how often our players come out flat against Ole Miss

I give Ole Miss a second thought for a week or so once a year when we play each other in football. It's usually but not always a decent game. Ole Miss doesn't excel in other collegiate sports, so there's not much else. I notice there are a large number of OM posters on tSECr, many of whom seem highly insecure, some who are pretty delusional. I rarely read an entire thread started by an OM poster because there's often not much of substance to read. Is this how rivalries are supposed to work?

(FOOTBALL) Ole Piss fans who claim LSU is a bigger rivalry than State are frickin liars or in denial! I have/had several family members who played and graduated from State! There is no comparison! If State goes 1-6 in SEC and wins egg bowl, everything is good! If LSU goes 1-6 and beats Ole Piss that just aint gonna cut it! Arkansas for the Golden Boot used to be a big game and Ole Piss, but now all of them are big games becasue if we aint winning, we got problems!

I went and saw LSU and MSU in 2012 and one of the MSU fans screamed "Go to hell Ole Miss" after the anthem

Ole miss. But it changes year to year for me. Back in mid-late 2000s it was Arkansas, then Bama, now this year it's ole miss without a doubt

Do not mistake a rival for an in-state opponent.
Ole Miss vs State is very big for folks in Mississippi, but a large portion of the Ole Miss fan base are not Mississippians, and the older Ole Miss fans who are Mississippian mostly view LSU as the key game.

It may be a key game but it is not a bigger rivalry. There is a difference.

This is exactly how Ole Miss people feel about LSU and State.
LSU will always be our biggest rival in my eyes.

You're looking at this from an MSU perspective. I have been an Ole Miss fan for 40+ years and I can assure you a VERY LARGE portion of our fan base considers LSU to be our biggest rival without question.

I would have to say they hate LSU more than any other school. They have a cab with "Go to hell LSU" written on top of it that rides around the square and they say that at every sporting event pretty much. Someone even stood up in the middle of their graduation in the grove and screamed it in the middle of a complete silence. Maybe I just notice it bc I'm an LSU fan.
