re: What city would you live in in the US if you could live anywhere?

Move anywhere outside LA and you quickly realize how shitty a town infrastructure wise New Orleans is. Most places look like they're falling down. Roads are like a mine field for potholes.

I honestly don't see who would want to live there besides ultra rich or an alcoholic. Yes there is good food but I can't tell you how many times I've had friends tell me they live in a "nice place" and everything is a hundred years old and looks like it needs to be bulldozed.

Every bar with the exception of a handful looks like a shack with some neon.

Nah, pass.

Don't forget how dirty everything looks. I mean....it's a fun city to
visit....and everyone I know not from LA that has been loves to visit there. But they ALL make the comment of how dirty everything looks.

And you know what? I may sound like a broken record, but Charleston has a clean New Orleans vibe to it.
