Headed to Pensacola for long weekend on Thurs morning. Any recommendations for restaurants, bars, booze ?

Peg Leg Pete's in pcola beach is pretty strong. nice location as well. Casual and not too expensive but better than average food.

It wont help you out but every wed the have free raw oysters at Gilligans Island Bar at the Holiday Inn

I liked the Grand Marlin. I did not like Peg Legs at all. In spite of the cheesiness I have always had a good steak at Mcguire's. I definitely agree with checking out Joe Patti's. Take a ice chest for fish to go and they have a little sushi bar and restaurant on site. I

Thanks guys - definitely going to check out joe patti's, we were already talking ab getting some seafood to cook one night, so that's perfect. Got a bottle of 4R single barrel, and will pick up some yuengling when I get down there

Jaco's on Palafox at the end of the street on the waterfront
Pegleg's is at least worth visiting for some oysters and cold draft.
McGuire's is consistently good.
