I don't understand why we can't get plays in faster. Consistently breaking the huddle with 15 seconds on the play clock.

And then they do that stupid look at the sideline crap and Jennings starts yelling at the OLine with 5 seconds left. I hate it

my all time favorite is when they call a time out, discuss the play and the situation and then go back and line up and either don't get the play off in time or call the most mundane play ever. why the time out?

believe it or not, I saw it happen in another game yesterday. I can't remember which game but I only saw three so it had to the msu vs au or a&m vs ole miss. I said "shite, it looks like it's not just LSU".

Looks like we're running a complex offense. Our QBs, and to an extent the other skill players and line, aren't very fluent in it... yet.
Seems like we have base groups of players for whatever generalized thing we want to do, be it basic offense, run/short yardage, or pass/2 minute drill. They go out on the field, and then you get a package of plays sent in. Seems to take a few seconds to decide which packages are sent. Then you line up, usu with about 15 seconds or so, and based on the defense, the actual play is picked from that package. Problem is, neither AJ nor BH know what that play should be, so the coaches send that in, taking a few more. Then you make sure the line is set with their blocking, because they don't seem quite ready yet either. That brings us to about 3 seconds for the snap, often less.

Once the players become more familiar with it, things SHOULD speed up. But right now, it seems necessary for the coaches to be so hands-on. Remember the early part of the game, the line getting confused and blown up? That appears to be the adjustment.
