David McClure was a role player. Jon Scheyer was not a "Role player." Someone who starts for three years and finished in top 3 on team scoring for three different seasons is not a role player. Role players do not score 14.9 ppg as a junior.

He absolutely was a role player for 3 years. Just because he finished top 3 in scoring and started games doesn't exempt him for being a role player.
He was pretty one dimensional up until his Sr. year. He was never the focal point of the team until then, and even that can be argued.
