Wikipedia says Pizzarro defeated the Inca Empire and its 80,000 warriors with 168 men.
Not strictly true. Pizarro also used collusion. Plus, smallpox claimed the Incan emperor and triggered a civil war (he had no legitimate male heirs, but lots of bastards - think Game of Thrones) - Pizarro kidnapped the eventual winner of the civil war, ransomed him, reneged on releasing him, used him as a puppet for a time and ultimately executed him, ending the Incan empire as we know it.
Similar to Cortez, he let them believe him and his men were gods, used cavalry, cannon and musket to great psychological advantage, as well as benefitting from the natural immunity to the disease they carried in themselves.
It was not as simple as 168 men defeating 80,000 in successive battles.
