No he didn't. He was pretty much a grade a arse hat. Only good thing about it is he never cleaned his gun so it constantly jammed and I would just keep shooting. Pissed him off a lot.

Talking about recoiless guns, don't think that ones part of the club

That bps 10 is a bad dude. Mine weighs around 11 pounds loaded.

Nope it's not. But my original post was spoofing the ads for the recoil pad. I expected OBers to question the validity of 95% recoil reduction not the need of a recoil pad on a 3-1/2" 12ga.

Back when it was my "go to gun" I would load it with 00Buck and stomp clearcuts. I worked hard for that free meat.

Haven't ever shot buckshot out of mine. It has mauled grey ducks at 70 though

Mine would do the same if I found the safety on top of the stock after shooting Remingtons with their trigger guard safety all my life.

Can't tell you how many ducks had their lives saved when I'd pull up the beretta and be pushing my finger on the BACK of the trigger guard like it was a remington
got used to it but frustrating nonetheless

I could never get the hang of it. Possibly because it wasn't feasible to use a 10ga on doves, squirrels, skeets or anything else that allowed enough shooting to get familiar with it.

Grew up on an 870 and shoot a maxus now. Both have safeties behind the trigger. I just have never had a problem throwing up and taking the safety off. The only thing that could foul me up is if it's on fire already. Happens about 1-2 times a season. That 10 is nasty on birds that skirt the decoys late in the season and geese that know where your blind is.

Keep that sheet on the O-T until you learn how to sharpen your own chainsaw chain.
