I did...moved from L.A. to Boston in 2008. Had a place to live and found a job within a month.

2010 moved back to L.A. with no job and stayed with friends. Had a job in a couple of weeks.

Good luck

Head to the Dakotas. Economy is booming and it's flooded with high class whores following the money.

I'm in the exact same situation only I do have crippling student loan debt along with a 110 pound dog and a cat. Been applying for a while and finally hit the "frick it" button.

Got money saved up and, unless I find something before, I'm going to move to either Dallas or Houston in January.

I'd kind of prefer Houston, but the housing is WAY more there. I've got time to piece the puzzle together, but the decision has been made.

Wish you the best of luck. I'm nervous as frick about it but comfort breeds apathy.

Gotta make it happen myself.
