Entire situation is indefensible:

-Allowed visa entry into US to begin with - and it's hard to trust reporting that no infection was possible on cross-Atlantic flight and subsequent transit.

-Not properly screened at first hospital entry; allowed back into community when infection was certainly probable.

-Whose to say infection was not or could not spread upon final admittance to hospital (see Spain)?

And now we've sent thousands of US troops into the west African region to assist. I would not wish it upon them but isn't the likelihood of some of those folks becoming infected increased?

I generally disregard alarmists but it looks/feels like the US response is destined for FUBAR.
