High deductible plan, 3600 deductible for 2 adults.

My employer shares their cost with us so I know the breakdown. Overall cost went up about 17%, employer passed on all of it plus paid a few percent less than last year. So my cost is 19% up over last year.

Obviously the relevant number is the 17 percent.

I think of it in these terms. Between myself and my employer we pay about 12k before the insurance company is out a dime.

It just blows my mind.
