That wasn't the original example I used. I originally was talking about the citizens that would beat the shite out of some teens playing the knockout game every once in a while. They were treated like heros where if a cop did the same thing they would be vilified.

Then open your eyes or whatever his name is started blabbling about the double standard being warranted because citizens are arrested for battery in these situations and cops are not.
