I am with you ... but he is not doing it this year. Understanding that today's headcoach is as much a CEO as a headcoach .. I think he probably failed to supervise, or just put too much trust on GRIMES and CHAVIS.. if the OL was working and the D was working, the QB situation would not be as critical. The problem is that job of supervising falls squarely on Miles.
i completely agree and you dont seem to be one of the irrational ones.
Its just the Miles has his hands on offense, chavis save his job comments that get me when now this season people are blaming Miles on the defense. i would hope our head coach is involved in the entire game plan. I think he deserves all the blame. but just because we lost two games, fans want to discredit 9 years of football. i want to see Les build on this class like he did with 09 and go out with a bang. i believe he has earned that and earned the respect of the fans, but i will tell you this, No coach will ever get that at LSU. Saban and cholly had their fare share of haters as well.

We have to spread our offense out and speed it up too. Even Bama only scored one offensive TD vs Ole Miss. It's time to combine talent and scheme.

Seldom anyone anywhere goes out while on the way up.... why get off the ride while it is still fun?
some just do not recognize when the ride is slowing down.
just too much money involved to allow time to flow by..
the one thing that bothers me is that maybe "due diligence" was not done with enough depth when hiring some of these coaches...maybe they discussed philosophies, but coaching/playing styles should have been discussed as well....something was not properly addressed.

Remember at least for the Auburn game, Malzahn called off the dogs in the 2nd half. There is no doubt about it. , not that Im not applauding our efforts but you could tell that Malzahn and Aubbies could have easily hung 63 on us.

some truth to that I am sure ...
but I still think that teams seem to prepare for us specifically more than we do them.
the FL will tell a lot.. we are a PICK THEM by Vegas basically and they have lost their #1 QB

The QBs will play very little into the outcome of the LSU vs FL game.
This will be as close to the Army-Navy game that the SEC can provide.
Doesn't really matter who takes the snap, the forward pass will make Ga Tech proud in this one.
As far as the bad coaching or laziness, I honestly think that this is a legitimate question, when I would normally never click on a thread title like it on the Rant.

To me it's a sign if poor preparation for the team they are playing then at half it is, "ok they are killing us by doing ______, so we need to try and ________."

I agree, but not half way into the season. Plus, Money. You looking at about $20 mil to buy out this staff. Then what's it going to take to get another one in here? And if that one isn't successful, you dropping even more coin. This is all because some people can't get over another coach that has a program trending downward as well.

I go along with what you are saying there rbdallas. This Saturday IMO will definitely be the tale of the tape.

good coaching in 1970's formations. add a stubborn coach who wants his legacy to be in the style of Bo Schenbeckler (sp) and you have our problem. The real question is when do the players lose confidence in the system/game plan. Looking back I think the players lost all confidence in the game plan in 2011 NC against bama.

This team seems afraid. In the past if someone was stomping on our players, players would be out for blood and payback. I don't care how talented he might be, just take the meanest motherfricker on this team and play him. Let him build some intensity on this team. I really think a good scrap could give this team the confidence they need and unite them, because this group is being bullied and it shows.
